The Shepherds Barn in Quernmore is the perfect place to relax in our beautifully restored barn conversion, with fantastic countryside views. The barn is spacious, contemporary, with a high quality finish throughout, whilst maintaining the original features of our traditional stone barn.

Our extremely spacious self-catering, dog friendly, 5 star accomodation boasts a high level of comfort, offering a well-equipped farmhouse kitchen, with the warmth a traditional luxury Aga.

The contemporary lounge and dining room is dominated by the real flame gas fire, fabulous views and the feeling of peace and tranquility.

The three large bedrooms, which are King, Double, and Twin, all have a large fireplace with real flame fires. Two bedrooms have spacious walk in wardrobes and each room has a large luxury en-suite bathroom including bath and shower.

The Shepherds Barn will welcome the whole family or a single person to enjoy the experience of a traditional country home.

The Shepherds Barn is perfectly situated in the picturesque Quernmore Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are 3 miles from the historic city of Lancaster, and within the scenic Forest of Bowland, AONB. We are also within 1 hours drive of the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, Blackpool, Morecambe and The Lune Valley.

The Shepherds Barn is part of the Longton family farm at Lee End, and Thomas maintains the Longton tradition of working and trialling sheepdogs. Guests have the opportunity to taste the experience of working with a sheepdog, please speak to Thomas for more details.
