Holidays At The Shepherds Barn

This dog-friendly, 5 star self catering accommodation is found on the farm of the internationally acclaimed sheepdog handler, Thomas Longton. Thomas is most publicly recognised for winning the supreme championship and the title of "One Man and His Dog". You can watch the border collies being trained, or maybe have a go yourself!!

Shepherds Barn is perfectly situated in the Quernmore Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is 3 miles from the historic city of Lancaster and within 1 hours drive of the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, Blackpool, Morecambe and The Lune Valley.

This extremely spacious self-catering accommodation is over 100 years old. The recent renovation boasts an extremely high level of comfort offering a well-equipped farmhouse kitchen including a traditional Aga oven.

The comtempary lounge / dining room is dominated by the real flame gas fire, fabulous views and the feeling of peace and tranquility.

The three large bedrooms, which are King, double, and twin, all have a large fireplace with real flame fires. Two bedrooms have spacious walk in wardrobes and each room has a large luxury bathroom including bath and shower.

Shepherds Barn will welcome the whole family or a single person to enjoy the experience of a traditional country home.
