From the south:
Leave the M6 junction 33 turning left onto the A6 take the immediate left into Hampson Lane, follow the road over the motorway bridge passed Hampson House Hotel to a T Junction, turn right at the T Junction following signs at Dolphinholme, approximately half a mile you will come to a junction, turn left following the signs for Quermore, take this road approximately 5 miles until you arrive in to the village of Quernmore at the cross roads where there is a stone on the ground [ reads Quernmore ],  turn left down the road for half a mile until you come to a single track bridge, turn left into the lane of Lee End Farm immediately before the bridge, at the top of the lane is the Shepherds Barn.

From the north

M6 junction 34, turn right at the lights for Caton. After a few miles you arrive in Caton and there is a sign for Quernmore ,turn right. Follow the signs to Quernmore and you will pass a church and a school on your right. The next crossroads you turn right. At the bottom of the hill there is a narrow stone bridge. Turn left immediately before the bridge- signed to Lee End Farm. Follow the lane up to the Shepherds Barn. 

From Lancaster city centre, take the Quernmore road passed the city’s cathedral passing Lancaster boys grammar school on the right, at the next junction take a right turn into Wyresdale Road follow the road up the hill passing Williamson’s park on the left, take the next turning left following the signs for Quernmore, follow this road for approximately 2 miles, continue on the road down a steep hill into the bottom of Quernmore Valley, go over the single track bridge and then take an immediate right turn into the lane of Lee End Farm, at the top of the lane on the right is the Shepherds Barn.
